National Sports Collectors Convention 2026: What Collectors Need to Know

The hobby’s biggest annual event returns this summer. Here’s everything you need to plan your visit — from who’s exhibiting to what to bring.

The National Sports Collectors Convention (The National) is the Super Bowl of the hobby, drawing thousands of collectors, dealers, and industry insiders from around the world. In 2026, the show returns with an expanded floor, new grading company booths, and some of the most sought-after autograph signers in recent memory.

Whether you’re a first-time attendee or a veteran who’s been going since the ’90s, here’s what you need to know before you walk through those doors.

Plan Your Buying Strategy

The National floor can be overwhelming — over 1,000 dealers, millions of cards, and enough vintage material to fill a museum. Come with a want list, a budget, and the discipline to stick to both. The best deals are usually found on Day 1 and the final day when dealers are motivated to move inventory.

Grading Submissions On-Site

PSA, SGC, and Beckett all have booths on the floor. Walk-in submission rates apply, and lines can be long — plan to arrive early if grading is on your agenda. Turnaround times vary by service level.
